I’m a practicing Buddhist but I also like to practice spells (mostly hedge witchcraft) and astrology. My witchcraft and my religion really get wrapped up in each other at times, especially with meditation practice and deity visualizations possibly falling into both camps! Sometimes it’s hard to fit witchcraft into my religion but I make it work and find them compatible.

How do you all meld religion and witchcraft?

    Om Mani Padme Hum.

Edit: I’ve also worked with the goddess Diana for years and looking for a way to integrate her more wholly into my Buddhist beliefs so there is no conflict there!

I’m Catholic personally (kind of on the fritz with it, but at my core I’m Catholic with some spiritual “add-ons”), and I don’t feel any strong contradiction between my religion and other spiritual beliefs/practices. I follow a fairly free-form practice stemming from green witchcraft, which is very often practiced in tandem with other religions, so there is precedent. While taking a world religions course recently, I learned there’s a growing subset of Jewish witches who not only are both practicing Jews and witches but see their witchcraft as an inseparable part of their Judaism. Really there were different mysticism practices in just about every religion at some point, so I see no point in getting strung out about the current doctrine of any given religion on the subject.

Part Native American spirit work, part Wiccan, Part Buddhist, worship Kuan Yin. Add a few large handfuls of folk and sympathetic magic, and smoosh it all together until it is well blended. I don’t know. It works for me. And that is how I measure things. By what works. Maybe because the branch of Buddhism is Zen? BB.

Catholic here. I had problems at the beginning, but it had to do more with the prejudice the priests and people in general have in that religion, also all the horrible mess and corruption inside the church as an institution made me hate the religion for a while.

I just stopped going to Sunday mass, and after some time of not hearing the judgemental preach of the priest, and the “well intention” opinions of the people there, the problem was somehow solved. I was amazed how different the religion is after you start reading and learning by yourself.

Wiccan here. Wait, I think I’m cheating. Also, I have been involved with multiple religions, and read the Bible cover to cover for example. Remember that not all religions are married to a spirituality. Some simply promote that you find your own spirituality, and adjust respect others. In doing so, I have learned a lot from other religions and spiritualities.

I follow the Sanātana Dharma faith but have been involved in and have done witchcraft for many more years before I found this religion.

Yes. I’m a Christian, but I also study and occasionally practice Paganism, Shamanism, and Wicca. Mainly White, Nature, and Healing Magic though. I also study and research Aliens and Faeries as well.

I’m somewhat similar to you! I’m an animistic pagan and incorporate Buddhist and Daoist practices. 🙂

I’m a “Don’t mix my peanut butter and chocolate” kind of person.

I keep all my practices separate from one another.

I had a problem with this as a weird combination of doaism, demonolatry, old God worship and I give respect to all divine except for JCI so I made my own temple so I can just claim to be that lol.
