I offer another idea when attending to protest: wear a tee shirt with a loved one or a heroine who died for the cause with their names on the back. It worked for the women of Chile in disposing Pinochet. They let the pictures speak for them.

This actually sounds like a really satisfying way to drown out the noise of pro-forced-birthers at protests and planned parenthoods. What if we all just brought cow bells to the 5/15 protests? Imagine how obnoxiously loud a crowd of angry feminists with cowbells would be.
