Do any of you guys use apple dolls in your witchy practice? I take my apples and carve out a face (Large noses always come out the best, just a tip) and I soak it in lemon juice and moon water that’s had herbs left in it for a few hours (Usually protective herbs) and salt, all of this so it can be preserved better and absorb the protective herb potion. Then I pop it in my dehydrator (You can just hang them by the stem in a well ventilated space, but I have a dehydrator so that is quicker.) and I just dry it. In autumn and winter I place them on my altar to represent the apple harvest, and the crone of winter, and I hide them around my house as protective charms. Sometimes I just keep one in my purse, and it’s just a cute old lady smiling at me. I love apple dolls, anyone else share my enthusiasm?
