are boundaries set by just making the thought or is there a process for them?

hi, so few days ago a medium told my mom about something that i’ve been thinking about that i didn’t want anyone to know about, and i’ve always thought that if the person didn’t want a thought to be read, a medium would simply be blocked from it, but apparently i was wrong, so how does this whole thing work? can you block someone from reading you? or are you just going to be exposed to mediums?

So, as none of us are involved in the situation, speculation only goes so far. A few key points in my personal experience both as a having been read and given readings – though I can’t say I am experienced:

– Your mother could have possibly put two and two together with information she got from the medium. Also remember.. mother’s intuition is a strong thing also. Your mom could have already suspected something was off, gotten little pieces and came to her own conclusion and did what mothers are good at: calling you out to see how you react to it.

– Sometimes readers and mediums are given information that can be a tricky moral issue when it comes to delivery and it can depend on that person’s personal values. (Would I like to know if it was me? Is this information going to be damaging or insensitive if I share it or is spirit giving me this information to present that is ultimately a healing experience or lesson for these people?)

– If this was a particular shock to your mother it is possible the medium was a bit cut and dry and direct vs giving the messages received with love and kindness.

-Also sometimes the more we wish for something to not happen or the more secretive we can be about things, the more likely they are to surface (from personal experience) whether a medium or psychic is involved or not.

If you don’t mind some 2 cents put in from me, of only to help:

Looking at this from the outside in, and having to had to work at getting closer to my mother a bit more over the years I would do some inner work with the situation. Communication, is this something that can be worked through to heal the relationship with your and your mom to become more open and closer? Or maybe provide some of sort blessing and lesson within it all? Much self improvement of different kinds can out of stuff like this that disrupts our peace a little bit.

First instinct here is that your mother was fishing with something she suspected but wanted confirmation on, and claimed that the medium told her as a way to get you to do just that.

If your mother if prone to manipulation and this makes alarms go off in your head, I would call her on the carpet with this one. Just outright ask her if it was really a medium that told her or if it was just something she was saying to fish out your thoughts and watch her reaction carefully.

First, there is no NO genuine medium who would EVER report to someone else information that is about someone else, and that someone else has not consented, and my guess is she knows your mother or you well enough she made a guess and then attempted to give it credibility by claiming it came to her as a medium. The energies would never allow that, please know this. This person is not a medium, she’s a busybody. Steer clear. (It may also be an attempt to manipulate you into seeing her too. Again, any game playing like this is a clear sign to shut her out. She’s a person who enjoys manipulating others for her gain). Ok?
