NicolinaParticipantAll my life I have had experiences with spirits and it seems to run in my family. I have had a recent awakening (like something turned on), and I have decided to finally develop my abilities. I have been looking around and saw others offer classes. Are these a good idea or is there suggestions on how to further develop it?

Are online classes a good idea to develop abilities?

GuestFebruary 3, 2021 at 3:23 amI haven’t taken classes yet so I can’t speak on that. I recommend finding some books to read from those that may align best with you. I’m sure there’s a running list of authors who speak about spiritual growth and how to move forward somewhere on the internet! <3

GuestFebruary 3, 2021 at 3:23 amI just starting taking online classes a few months ago and I would say it definitely helps. Online classes are probably all you can find right now due to COVID anyway.
Try to find a medium that you feel comfortable learning from. I initially started learning with one person and her beliefs were far different from mine so I couldn’t continue learning from her. I later found someone else that I felt comfortable with. I know she holds one day workshops from time to time so if you’re interested, I can message you and share her name with you. I’m new to Reddit and I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post her info in the comments.
I’m sure there are also books you can read up on also but from what I’ve learned so far, you really need to practice a lot to strengthen your gifts. It’s like exercising a muscle you didn’t know you had.
Good luck!

GuestFebruary 3, 2021 at 3:23 amI took a fair few, if you can afford them if they’re paid, I’d definitely say it did help me and is worth it with a decent teacher.
Around October last year I was playing around with this sort of stuff, messing around with some intuition exercises etc.
I’ve now managed to have a few practice readings for volunteers, I’m a bit more spiritually open and I’m probably in a better place mentally than I was back in October so I’d say it was worth it for me.
I’ve still got an incredibly long journey ahead of me but I get the feeling if it’s going to come to anything, I’ve taken a good first step by having classes.
