Sag can give a free-spirited energy, so not want to fit in just one place or way of being. If the person has other markers in their chart for *struggling* with feeling like they belong, the Sag Moon could shape what about them feels out of place — maybe it makes them feel like they don’t fit in due to how much they value freedom, or their philosophy/belief systems, or because they’ve been to many places (figuratively and literally) that others haven’t.

So it could shape the feeling of difference in a Sag way, but I would expect there to be more in the chart indicating that the person *struggles* with being different. They might have something exaggerating that Sag feeling and turning it darker, like Pluto’s involvement which could also make it harder to go with the flow, or something indicating that they feel lonely or rejected. ETA: For feelings of loneliness and rejection, harsh Saturn, Chiron, and Uranus aspects could do that, especially with sensitive planets like the Moon and Venus, but all personals could matter. It depends on what the experience feels like. The Asc-Dsc might also be involved. ETA again lol: Ah, saw that you mentioned you have an Aqua Dsc and Uranus in Aqua too. That might be making others feel cold and aloof from your pov, like they’re not giving you the warmth you want.

I guess the questions I’d ask are in what ways does the person feel like they don’t fit in? Is it always or in certain contexts? And what does not fitting in feel like to them?

I have a Sagittarius moon, and I’ve always been a little different. Not in a weird way, but In a humorous/ goofy type of way. I feel I think more than the average person, but my sun is in Gemini so that could also explain it. I feel it’s made me an enjoyable person to be around and to talk with. I’d say those with Sagittarius moon are unique.

My best friend is a sag moon/leo sun so of course she drips with charisma. People genuinely adore her and she’s super likeable which leaves me a bit envious of her. I wouldn’t associate sag moon too much with not fitting in, but I’d maybe look at placement/aspects in your chart, 11th house or where your chiron is at.

Not at all from my experience. Sagittarius essence can turn the moon into a curious, restless energy that is avid for more; to explore relationships, to gain a higher understandment of your own and others emotions, to experience new things. This quest could likely explain why the native doesnt seem to step foot in a single place. But as mutable as Sagittarius is, is also quickly to adapt to the environment. The sign a planet is at just give us a little piece of information, I suggest you look for other factors within the chart. The aspects the moon is receiving from other planets might be critical.

Harsh saturnian aspects can contribute to not feeling as belonging. Saturn speaks of order, limits and structure. When Saturn is making harsh aspects to personal planets, the native might feel like following the usual order of a place, to align itself with authority and be a functional element of a system is difficult to achieve. Saturn can be a harsh teacher and people with harsh saturnian aspects can be quite harsh on themselves and sometimes, also judgemental. Reason why it can turn you introverted.

Uranus is one, if not the most, energy related to feeling aloof. Uranus nature is disruptive, chaotic and sudden. It is also rebellious, seeks for freedom and individuality. Harsh aspects between Uranus and personal planets can explain always feeling like an outsider.

As for signs go, the idea of “not fitting in” is generally related to Aquarius placements, althought not reserved to it.

But as mutable signs go, one of their most dominant features is their ability to blend in and devote themselves to the collective, sometimes to the extent of losing some individuality in the process.

My brother has a Sagittarius Moon. It’s in 12th house, but he doesn’t seem to have much trouble fitting in from my experience. If anything, he’s the most normal person in the entire house.

However, while we’re on the subject of not being able to fit in, I grew up feeling like this and I still do. I’m sure it’s a combination of Saturn and Uranus aspects and also having Saturn in Aquarius in 3rd house.

Usually its Aquarius suns, Sun in the 12th, or Saturn in the first or 11th that would indicate this. Sagittarius moon I don’t think has anything to do with this

They definitely can fit in as it’s a fairly optimistic and happy go lucky Moon to have. This mainly depends on aspects to the Moon as bad challenges can affect the optimism. They are usually very freedom-loving and will only want to fit in with who they want.

Mm.. I don’t think so. They’re pretty optimistic, charismatic people with a wonderful (almost childlike) sense of humor.
