So i was watching the trailer for Tall Girl 2 and the main character starts to hear a loud voice in her head telling her that she’s not good enough to achieve her dream and it got me thinking
I’ve never had a voice telling me that i can’t do something. Or is it because I don’t even bother to think about what i want to do, and just do it anyway? I don’t remember ever feeling un-confident and i can’t decide whether it’s me or the Aries within me.
Can any other aries relate?

It just depends.
I think I have an above-average level of self-belief, but everyone can get insecure. I think when Aries get insecure about their ability to do/achieve something, it’s more just a bad day rather than a pervasive feeling.

Aries stellium here. I never think I’m unable to do something, but when an obstacle does occur it’s devastating. I’m also the typical “loves to start and not finish kind of Aries”

At times, I follow with logic and reason if I can’t really do something, I do get intrusive thoughts when fear and doubt creeps out while it lurks in the shadows but eventually I’ll be inspired and motivated and then determined. So as an Aires, I get both confident and insecure, I just got to decide and choose which dragon to feed..

There is a reason why Saturn is at fall on Aries and the Sun is exalted, and it Is because Aries doesnt do well with limits and boundaries, while it does excellent to whatever brings light above the ego, self expression and assertiveness.
So placements in Aries, if not bad aspected in the chart, will be doers instead of thinkers (its also a fire cardinal sign, so it is a starting sign and an extroverted energy).
Of course this can also have a negative impact, since Aries placements can also behave in a reckless, impulsive and impatient manner without giving 2 seconds to think about the consequences of their actions (once again Saturn, the planet of time, is in fall here).
It also doesnt mean that Aries placements wont deal with insecurity in life, and mostly on those areas that might speak of emotional support.
As a fire that extinguish itself quickly, Aries can also deal with problems to come through, dealing with frustration, and waiting im general (therefore even if they are ‘doers” it doesnt mean they are not quitters).
My husband’s motto, who is an Aries stellium, is.”dont think so much about it, just do it”. I think Nike would probably have to payoff some royalties to all the Aries in the world.

from the arieses around me, what I noticed is, as you said even if insecure a little, you still go and do it. trailblazers, the first sign, the firsts, the beginners, cardinal fire. I would guess, its not about insecurity or security, its about why wouldnt I do, or ill do it to prove smth, ill do it to show others you can do it and its possible, ill do it cause I want to do it, ill do it cause I can, cause why not, im curious. its very inspiring to watch. possibly a bit of it can be, proving things to yourself or others (probably both). but fuck yeah! thats the spirit arieses, off you go taking over the world! Harness that Marsian energy.

I don’t have any Aries but I have a Sun trine Mars and a Sag moon. I don’t have those doubts either despite being one of the most stereotypically pessimistic sun signs.

Not me but my wife . She is both the most confident person i know and the most insecure one at the same time . And the jealousy …. Ughh , don’t let me start !!!! It’s hillarious and frustrating at the same time . The most recent thing is … Well … She is jealous of Taylor Swift … Let that sink in . I jokingly said that i’m secretly in love with TS and she has competition …. I do not know TS , never met her , don’t want to ( no offense ) . Still … Wife got mad … Like angry Aries mad . I got my ass handed to me ( serves me right for opening my big mouth 😂😂😂 ) . Ever since she is a super wife , trying to show me that she is better for me than Tay Tay ( and she doesn’t shut up about it either ) … With whom i do not have any communication whatsoever and don’t want to and never plan to have any . I told as much to my wife , but wifey refuses to accept it . In her crazy sheep brain if she doesn’t prove me that she is the best ever ( i already know that 😏) Taylor is going to kidnap me and will do some Sith sorcery on me and i will fall in love with her and i will leave my wife and marry her instead ( deep heavy annoyed sigh ) and unlike me , she is taking that seriously and isn’t joking ( like at all ) . Let me be clear on that : i do not want to be with TS (from what i know about her she is a bit of autoritarian and drinks alot , i hate both things , first because i’m a Gemini and the second because have a negative view on alchohol and the people who have a thing to abuse it ) i love my crazy bitch ( i mean wife ) and will not leave her for anyone ever . Also i’m 135 kg , 1.93 m bulgarian dude with a temper and a particular set of skills , so no one with their brains intact will ever try to kidnap me . But good luck explaining that to my wife … The only good thing about everything is that atleast is no longer boring at home ( thanks to me ) 😐

I would guess it’s your Gemini making you confident not your Aries. Every Aries I’ve met has been very insecure when they didn’t need to be. I think it comes from Aries competitive side, they tend to make things that aren’t competitions into competitions.

My ex best friend is an Aries, she’s so insecure around me. She tried her best, every time, to bring me down, in this way she would TRY to shine a little bit. THE FEAR of that girl 💀

I’m Aries Moon trine Jupiter and i always feel confident and like things will turn right for me. So i also never had such doubts.. I would assume Aries placements could make one like that but it also all depends on the whole chart. I mean, there are prolly lots Aries Suns, Moons, etc people who feel insecure because of whatever else in their chart.
