Just starting to get into astrocartography and find it fascinating. Does anyone have any experience living on or near a Mars line? Specifically Mars MC. Everything I’ve read so far has been completely negative but I still feel a pull to this place

I lived on a Mars AC line for 3 years. I did not enjoy it. People viewed me as argumentative. I also had to get surgery for an unexpected life-threatening condition. Personally I won’t be staying on a Mars line again.

From my experience living near this line has emulated a sort of Martian aspect as in as soon as i drove into this state i got pulled over, got into 3 car accidents, have almost died literally 3 times…and this is the most isolated I’ve felt(i used to be in the Marine Corps so i know how isolation can feel), but at the same time I’ve rediscovered who i am and where my drive in life comes from(especially after reconnecting with my dad after 12 years of separation MARs)realizing where my tendencies come from. Also my physical attributes have increased immensely. I’m noticing the rewards come at a little bit of a cost but the reward is intense and dire(My Martial arts career is increasing in success). If you wanna really get shit done and don’t mind a little bit of friction and say mars is an ally in your chart then Send IT!

It seems like negative interpretations of Mars’ energy in astrocartography are based in the traditional perspective of Mars as one of the malefics, whereas a modern psychological astrology approach would describe it as a source of action/drive/motivation. If you are natally an Aries Sun and Mercury, and Mars has flowing aspects in your natal chart, then it makes sense that you would feel drawn to it. How far away is it from where you currently live? Is there a program of education or employment that would draw you there?

Maybe take a trip to there and see what it feels like, if you can afford it! I’ve never lived by one, but I’m going to avoid it as much as I can because Mars sucks in my chart 😅. Maybe if Mars has a lot of harmonious aspects in your birth chart it would be nice? I’m not experiences with astrocartography, just guessing lol

Have lived on my mars line (the negative one) & my venus line (the positive one).

While life was amazing & I was at my most social best & prettiest on my venus line it also made me lazy & spendthrift which can get boring after a time.

Mars line as I like to describe it is a “run bitch run” kinda life. You’re proactive & on the move constantly which is great for a career & pursuing your hobbies & dreams. I went to my dream university, got most of my jobs & learnt every hobby I have here.

I looked this up, and by and large the only ‘line’ on my country is my mars line, it goes straight through my city. I feel a bit confused tbh.. I’ve tried to look it up as just my country, but it’s kinda small. Sorry I’m not sure this is coming out right. But by the looks of it, I’ve grown up on my Mars line.

Yes! I was born and lived 30 years under a Mars line! It was a place that is hard to relax. That can be good if you are ambitious, but bad if you just want more chill in your life. I eventually left because, amoung other things, the constant tension wore me out.

I live on my Mars IC and Saturn/Uranus conjunction AC. Besides that this happened to be where I was during the pandemic (I moved here end of 2018) it’s been the easiest for moving forward in life and career with minimal effort.

I was on my Venus DC line before here and everything was pretty effortless too. But on my Venus DC it felt like I didn’t grow much and here I’ve just become such a better person. I also make stronger connections here because on my Venus line I felt like I made good connections with people no matter what, and here on my Mars line I have to be more careful about who I trust with friendship/romantically.

As someone else said they had a life threatening thing on the Mars line, I had a life threatening thing during my Saturn return while on my Venus line too. Theres a lot of factors.

I’d just say it’s probably better to decide where you live based on whats best for you, not astrologically. Also in your relocation chart look to the vertex since it will also move as well. Mine on my Mars line conjuncts my Venus/Juno conjunction by less than a degree, so I still have a lot of benefits of Venus anyway.

I understand the pull, daring and adventurous is attractive to a lot of people. It’s so much worse than that though lmao I’m scared to ever move back there. Lots of energy but that’s because you constantly have to be ready to fight

My mars is in cancer natally which is at it’s fall or weakest position. So I’m not looking forward to ever visit any place with that influence . I lack will power, courage and drive as it is
