beginner ritual ideas for samhain?

Does anyone have any beginner ritual ideas my friend and i can do together for samhain? Any advice or tips?

Here are some things I plan on doing :
– Set up altar for Samhain (*already done*)
-Making a veggie soup and setting out a spot for my grams who passed last year
-Bake soul cakes
-Small ritual to acknowledge the sabbat, maybe try to communicate with my grandma and chat a bit, as well as my kitty who passed also last year
-Reflect on the year pass and the year to come
-Carve pumpkin

For me, the sabbats are more about making them what you resonate with, not going all out if you don’t want but also going all out if that is what feels right to you. You can do as little or as much as you feel works. BB and enjoy the day! 🧡

I like listening to Blackmores Night, particularly Cartouche. I’m planning on having a butternut squash soup and setting out an altar for my dog who passed away.

Im going to make a spell satchel, if you have a cloth napkin or scrap of fabric that might not be missed, you can use kitchen spices cinnamon sticks rosemary laurel (bay) leaf, bind them with a colored cord that matches your intentions.

Write yourself a spell that well, spells out what you want for the next turning of the year.

Keep it for the year, charge it often. Let it remind you of the promises you’ve made yourself.
