My best friend had passed away in 2013. When she first passed away I had 2 dreams about her a couple days after her passing and she would insist that “she wasn’t dead.” Then years later I had a dream about her confirming something I was questioning about my relationship “it’s exactly what you think it is” is all she said. Then nothing for years. Finally 2 years ago she showed up in my dream and I had a conversation with her. I asked her if she was okay and she said “i’m still trying to figure it out, I’m still trying to figure out what happened” and it seemed like now she understood she passed away. I haven’t dreamt of her since but this dream really stuck with me and it makes me sad. Can spirits take some time to find peace or not realize they passed away, if they passed away suddenly while still young? I wish I could have some closure that she’s finally okay and has found peace. I miss her.

Yes, time is irrelevant to them. And she doesn’t need to find final peace, as long as she’s not emotionally hurting while she sorts through her Afterlife.
You can also send her peace, courage, love and wisdom. Just don’t set an agenda or timetable for her. That’s imposing your will and desires into her experience .

A lot depends on her beliefs. Did she believe there is life after death? If not, then yeah, she is mad because she thinks she’s not supposed to be alive if she died! I think the whole RIP is one of the worst things we say. Nobody rests forever in some semi paralyzed state. How horrible! There’s work to be done!
I’m going to fight for justice just as hard on the other side and prepare for the next life. But I know that. Bet she didn’t. So she will learn in her own time. Though you might explain some of this when you dream her.
