My in laws found a cat last night wandering near our out. For context, we never see stray cats in our complex. There are coyotes that live near here, so I've heard more about coyotes getting pets than I've actually seen cats.
This cat is so friendly and vocal. She walked up to me and my mother in law meowing. She let us pet her and had no objections to me picking her up. We brought her inside because it was raining and I was worried about the coyotes. Our cat Sapphire historically doesn't like other cats. We've kept them separate so far, but Sapphire has seemed concerned when she hears the other cat meow and not as tense has I've seen her in the past with other cats.
We're doing all we can to see if she has a human family looking for her, but so far nothing has come up. I feel like we were blessed by a cat spirit who brought her to us.
My partner and I were just talking the other day about another cat spirit. We saw a super friendly cat when we visited this complex looking at a home for sale. We took that as a good sign that a cat lived near the house. Since actually moving in, we rarely see outdoor cats as I mentioned above, so we really thing that was a cat sent to us to welcome us to the community and encourage us to buy the house.
I would love blessings for this cat to go where she needs to. If she has humans, I'd love to reunite them. If she doesn't have humans, I'd selfishly like Sapphire to be ok with getting a 2nd cat. For now we've been calling her Cat 2, but I'd also be open to name suggestions given my story and if there are any known goddesses or spirits that could be helping us connect with this cat.
