Kinda new to this realm of things but last night I had a night terror, after I had calmed down i saw a shadow person with my eyes closed that kinda let me know that was who was behind it. So this morning i lit sage with the intent of letting any lingering spirits or energy passing on and the intent of removing the shadow entity i saw last night as well as blocking my mind from any future psychic attacks.
For me i was never taught to do that it was just instinct and i believe its working because I got a headache after the said ritual and feel lighter in a sense. So my question is can sage be used this way?

Can sage remove a bad entity that has a hold on you?

Perhaps my experience may offer you a bit of guidance. I have only been aware of my gifts for a few years now. When i first learned i was a medium, i searched for a mentor. I will forever be grateful for a mentors support and love. I learned to meditate, shield, and communicate with my guides and angels. I had an experience that terrified me. In the middle of a bright sunny day, i saw a dark cloaked figure reflected out of my television into the middle of my living room. My tv was off, and i at that time i knew reflections like mirrors could aide a spirit or entity. I took my sweet dog for a walk in a huge beautiful field, i sat down with her and communicated with my guides. My guides informed me that i wasnt setting proper boundaries in my life, with spirit and with the living. At the time i had a covert narcissist in my life, and my kind heart allowed this person to over step my boundaries and i was allowing spirit to do the same. My guides wanted me to see this entity, they wanted to shake me up a bit in the hope i would see how harmful it is to not have firm boundaries and protect yourself. Their message came through loud and clear. I shared this lesson with the mentor and she was so very proud that i listened to my guides, set firm unbreakable boundaries, and released that toxicity from my life. I never saw the cloaked figure again, but knowing and feeling that his darkness exists helps me to stay in the light. I believe there may be some similarities in your own experience and your guides would Love to improve communication with you. You have Loving guides and they are always with you, wanting to help you through this journey of life. I hope something here is able to help you. Much Love 🌄 🌻

Ive only recently been starting to see these beings most are nice and just kinda explore my mind space. The only rude one is the shadow spirit

Sage doesnt cross over anything. It turns negative energy into positive energy. So, the negative entity would release its hold on you while you sage, but once you create negative energy, which is natural and everyone creates negative energy, it will come right back in.
You need to cross over this shadow man. You can ask your guardian angel to FIND the shadow man and TAKE him Home.
Or you can get an experienced medium who is trained in Spirit Rescue to clear you and your home.

Sage can help you, but the key here is to change your mindset and behaviour for the better. In your case, stop fearing and taking everything too close to heart. That might be the lession here for you!

No. It could keep it at bay for a little while but you have to keep redoing it every few days, not a long term solution.

Ugh. I had a night terror last night too.
I literally just finished burning palo santo. Wiped Florida water on my doors and windows around bed, put holy water on my bed frame, a rosary hanging with a crystal under my pillow.
I’m not playing around tonight. Im exhausted.
