I’m in no way a professional but can’t seem to connect or get the tarot to resonate if the person asking for it is extremely sceptical about tarot. Does this happen to others also?

Yes i read for two friends and was extrememly accurate for them. They then sent a non believer my way who was a complete skeptic and his whole manner was silly about it. Sending laughing emojis and LOLs .. i tried my best but he made me feel completely inadequate. And i couldn’t connect to him and even when i started to try he completely cut me off it was horrible x

Yes, that’s very common. Though I’m not sure why sceptics would want a reading anyway. It’s probably best to just decline if you can’t connect with them.

I’ll be honest I at first loved tarot and was excited about the idea.

I had a scam reading and it’s broken all trust I have in about 95% of tarot readers, I can only read for myself now. I’m trying to heal but I just don’t trust it anymore, I see so many people claiming to be psychic but only doing tarot readings, it always feels like a scam and my mistrust and pain makes me think badly of everyone, legit or fake.

I’m a nightmare to connect with now because of this, past events and poor readings can cause a lot of distrust, anger and resentment.

I know not being a full believer on these subs is apparently a crime lol, but sometimes people have genuine reasons for being sceptical.

It’s unfortunate but I never judge someone for being sceptical about any “psychic” phenomena.

Skeptics that get tarot readings are desperate for validation that there is “something”. But when readings don’t resonate, they get to still stay safe in their skeptical little comfort zone. I recommend doing a reading that asks the querent’s guides what action steps can be taken to help ready them to truly believe. You can also ask where the origin of their skepticism comes from, why they’re so defensive, or any specific messages the universe has been trying to tell them.

I used to feel the same way when reading Tarot for skeptics. Then I resonated with this Oracle deck that feels like it was made only for me in a language only I can understand. I’ve been able to bypass this skeptic blockage now and it doesn’t affect my readings. Perhaps you’ve spiritually outgrown your current deck and not resonating with skeptics is its way to tell you that you would get better results with a deck that can break past the blockages.

At the end of the day, the querent (skeptic or not) will listen to the advice from a reading, or they won’t. Either way, we are just the interpreters in that situation and should try to stay compassionate and kind.

It can happen. Anything of the metaphysical and supernatural are not meant for proving itself to skeptics.

Readings are a two way street. If the other person is not open and comes from a place of unwant, the reading fizzes out.
