I am still trying to understand how Saturn can possibly rule both of these signs and have read a lot of past comments on this sub. I’ve seen it phrased as Capricorn is how society is structured inside the castle walls and Aquarius is searching for new ideas outside of the walls, but it’s a little hard for me to think of searching for new and better ideas outside of the boundaries as a Saturnian or fixed quality?
I am wondering about thinking of it as Capricorn is the letter of the law and Aquarius is the spirit of the law. Both are interested in the meaning and its implication on society but Capricorn would think that the law is phrased the way it is for an important reason and something worth analyzing or sticking to, and Aquarius would think of the phrasing to be secondary to the intention and idea behind the law. What is the core principal and how that might change with changes in technology / as time moves forward.
