Hello, I’m fairly inexperienced with witchcraft though I have been involved with it for several years now. I need some insight from more experienced practicers for what I’m trying to do.
I have a difficult time making decisions, so often times I will flip a coin through an app on my phone to help me. Sometimes the heads or tails flip will lead me down a path that aids me and other times it does not.
What I want to do is cast a spell on a specific coin that I can use for these coin flip decisions. I want it to better aid me in taking me down the paths that do the most good for me.
I know that I would start by cleansing the coin, but I’m not totally sure what I should do after that and would really appreciate advice.

Honestly I would petition the coin/ some concept of luck/fate etc. to lead you down the right path. You might want to get a specific coin for this, one that intuitively you feel has your best interests in mind. Maybe go to a crossroads, figue out which path is the best for you (intuitively) and bury the coin there for however long you think. As long as you trust in the coin itself, it should be fine. I did something very similar to this for a while, but it ended up as a toxic behavior that fueled my anxiety (I felt like I wasn’t in control of my own mind and body etc.) so be wary of that if you have any sort of intrusive thoughts.

Have you thought about looking into tarot/oracle cards? A coin seems like it would offer very narrow options. Oracle cards can show you in better detail where different choices will lead you while also offering a wider variety.

You don’t need to cast a spell on a coin other than to bind it to you. And I would argue that a proper spell wouldn’t even be necessary, rather the act and determination that “this coin” is your lucky coin is enough.
Just always remember to trust your gut and never go against the coin

I think the advise given already is pretty solid. The only thing I will add is be super clear on your intent here. This seems like something that could muddle easily. You may even consider crafting a sigil to help you focus the intent while casting.

I have done some different divination techniques, and my favorite is flipping a coin. It has been very effective in the past. My recommendation is that you choose a coin that is special to you. Pick one out that calls to you. If you believe the coin is special, that is enough. I’d be careful letting people know you are doing that though, you might get some comparisons to a certain batman villain famous for using a coin flip to make decisions.
