BelladonnaofsadMemberIs it always about childhood trauma? Or does it influence other factors in life as well?

GuestOctober 13, 2022 at 12:53 amI have this tightly conjunct the IC in the 4th in the sign of Virgo.
My childhood had its troubles but was not the absolute worst. I come from a family full of issues and both parents are the black sheep of their families.
I feel as though I have observed and absorbed others’ pain as much as my own.
If I think of it in relation to the 10th house, its perhaps a bit easier because its also directly opposite Saturn in 10th conjunct MC !!
My childhood environment felt very critical and judgmental, little freedom in some ways which taught me a great deal about structure and self discipline but I’ve never felt truly free of criticism, from myself and others. I think deep down I worry I’m a bad person and I try hard to reflect and analyze whether I’m behaving as I should = Chiron also sextiles ASC and trines DC / Neptune . The downside is that really deep down in my core, I feel unworthy which isn’t something I’ll ever shake I don’t think.

Could indicated inherited traumas which can be unrecognized by yourself, even into adulthood – for example, an emotional abandonment by one or both of your parents – likely their coping mechanisms of their own experiences- rather than outright abuse or a physical trauma. It may create some sort of self esteem issues, codependency or attachment anxiety, rescuer mentality, sort of a Need to Heal others in order to try and achieve emotional connection.

GuestOctober 13, 2022 at 12:53 amI have this placement, however Chiron is retrograde in Cancer
My early childhood was traumatic AF and it led to some serious acting out type issues well into my teens. I’m in my 30’s now and am still uncovering and navigating these experiences, more importantly, trying to do it in a healthy way and not falling back onto old coping mechanisms.

GuestOctober 13, 2022 at 12:53 amChiron is the wound we did not cause but that must be addressed in order to heal. Some wounds (look for other centaurs) will heal on their own with time, but not Chiron. The key is that we will use this to help other people with similar wounds.
May I ask what sign it is in and if it is conjunct from the 3rd, or 4th, or exact?
