Could a spirit sleep with you? (not sexual)

It was 5:40 am and all my dogs except one had to use the restrooms. So being who I am called my sister, waking her up to go with me. When I called her I heard her normal tired voice, no biggie. But there was another voice. It was slightly overlapping hers and I could tell it was a different person just by the tone. It sounded as if they had just woken up and asked “What is it?” Or “Who is it?” And I know you must think she has a secret man. Negative. Here is how it sorta went. Also, remember that when (they) spoke it sounded like they were on the other side of the bed.

“Hello?” Her tired normal voice

Loud tired grunt (couldn’t tell if it was male or female)

“Come with me to take the dogs out” me

“Oh, ok” her
“Huh?…who (or what) is it?” Spirit.

Please let me know what you think. I’m a bit confused, I never knew spirits could sleep. Or is something else supernatural?

This is an interesting post, most people don’t talk about this subject but to answer your question, Yes, spirit can lay in the bed with you and I believe even go to sleep with you.

Of course as they are not in physical form and don’t have a physical body they wouldn’t necessarily need to sleep for the bodies rest, but i think its something more than that and maybe very varied.

My mother, sometime ago now, moved into sheltered housing which was for retired people only, as you would expect when the occupants move or sadly die the homes become available again.

My Mother as always been a psychic and my Grandmother too, so we have all had many experiences, not long after moving in I found that my Mother would not sleep in her bedroom or her bed, when i asked her about this she just said she preferred the chair. she also told me that there was a spirit of a man in the home. as I was staying overnight my Mother said it was fine if I wanted to take the bed, as I was snuggling down to prepare for sleeping i felt the spirit of the old Man in the bedroom, and then to my surprise I felt him get into bed with me.

Of course I got up and decided to opt for sleeping on the couch.

This is not unusual if spirits have died and not moved on, or don’t even know they are dead, as they act exactly as they did when they were alive, go home and do the same things they did when alive as much as possible.
