I felt like I had a calling and I want to focus on self love so I chose to seek Aphrodite for guidance. Today I incorporated rose water into my meditation, read up on Aphrodite, and wore rose quartz all day. One of my wants was met today and I wanted to know how I could thank her? I’m interested in creating an altar but the anxiety in me says she was just helping out and doesn’t actually wanna work with me.

As others have said, offering wine would be great. Do it on Friday (her day) and then just remain open if she wants more contact.

Even if she was just helping out and didn’t want an ongoing relationship, a thank you gift would be appropriate.
You don’t need to put up an altar. You can just make offerings to her. Flowers and symbols of beauty/love are appropriate. So are libations of Wine.

Offer her some wine as a thank you. I’ve worked with a few different deities in one off situations and never created an altar for them.

I think if Aphrodite were able to speak to you about this , she’d tell you to be a bit more confident in yourself and that your anxiety is misleading you. In my experience, Aphrodite loves working with anyone that wants to work on self love.
