*Sorry in advance for my English.* I noticed that there are eyes on the two major cards. Perhaps they suggested you to look at the relationship from another perspective/bigger picture. For me the two of wands talks about how both of you need to put in the work equally and not just one party putting in all the effort while another just does the bare minimum. There might need to be some communication or breakthrough for this to actually work. You guys may need to break it down and build it up from the foundation. Remember that buildings with unstable foundations are easier to fall down, so are relationships.
Plus, the snakes on the two cards; snake is a symbol of creation in some culture. So yeah, it adds up to starting anew again.

I’m not sure. My initial gut feeling when seeing the cards, is overall a sense of finality. Since you want the cards read together vs chronologically or linearly, I think the cards read that there is a partnership in which it will inevitably crumble completely, wholly, and finally. I can’t help but notice that the tower is in the center of the spread, meaning it’s a central focal point.

The world card also gives me a strong sense that despite the destruction and breakdown coming from the tower, you will end up happy.

I’m a new reader myself but using my basic knowledge of how I feel about the cards is this:

Apparently the 2 of wands with the tower indicate you desire something that is not good for you. The tower is often an indicator of the foundation of something not being sturdy and ultimately leads to the crumbling of the tower- but ends up leading to the star. So it crumbles but it’s necessary to get to where you want to go as long as you don’t let it wreck you.

I think the world card is your relationship with yourself. I think it means that if you choose you in this partnership and you focus on yourself that you will persevere. The relationship is not on solid ground and will ultimately crumble.

First off, for the Thoth deck, I like using the book Tarot – Mirror of the Soul by Gerd Ziegler. I have the Book of Thoth but it is not an easy read.

One thing I like about this book is that for each card, it lists indications, questions, a suggestion, and an affirmation. I find them really helpful for interpretation. For your reading, here’s what I get.

2 of Wands (Dominion): This card is all about challenges and finding the strength and focus to deal with them. The affirmation for this card is “I find the strength I need now in my center.”

The Tower: This one is all about intense transformation. I like the question for it, particularly given the discussion about all the eyes on the cards: “Are you ready to view yourself and life with new eyes?”

The World: I like the indication for this one, so I’m just going to quote it in full: “It is now possible for you to see things as they really are. The stage is set for a new beginning or a favourable completion. The events in your life are in harmony with the universe.”

Other general observations: two major Arcana, so pretty powerful reading. Also you have two cards associated with fire (wands and the Tower), then a card associated with earth.

So basically, I would say that challenges in your past are leading to some big transformations at the moment and it’s going to be hard. But I generally think the Tower appears when something needs to be torn down and the World suggests that in the end, you’re going to come out in a much better place.

My reading is you thought your knowledge were already enough to take your emotions or relationship to the next level, but your situation was made on a weak foundation. Whatever this is must end so you can start all over again. Let go of the things which you think is the weakest in your life.

I am using Crowley’s Thoth Tarot deck. I haven’t used a particular spread. I just asked the cards for guidance and how things will turn out for us and pulled out three cards as I like reading cards together.

Some background: Been on again off again with this guy for a while. He has some serious commitment issues, though he seems to really love me. Even when we’re off we maintain contact and have sex.

The 2 of Wands suggests there will be a transformation leading to a partnership. There is balance while there is passion in this partnership. 2 of Wands also speaks of initiation so whatever happens will be entirely new, especially as this card came before the Tower. I also read that whatever risky path I will be on, will be my own decision. This might be something that is so well beyond my horizons that I have no idea what it is yet; as I said I can’t read well for myself.

The Tower I feel sort of expands on the change that 2 of Wands spoke of. There will be massive, possibly painful change that will get me to question everything. Its effects might solely be spiritual if at the time I find myself well-aligned. I also tend to look at the Tower card as a card of opportunity. A chance to rebuild and rework. What this means for my relationship might mean us completely growing apart and not having any sort of contact for the first time in years. It might also mean that the fear we both (him more than me) hold within ourselves as a means of protection crumbles and we finally enter a more stable stage.

Now if it weren’t for The World card, I would read that this deck suggests I will embark upon a new path and at the same time what I have with this guy is sure to be destroyed. However, every time that I pulled about this guy and the World card came up, it seemed to (correctly) represent that eventually things will turn out exactly as I want them to; that I will receive the love that I want from him. The world is imo the best card (though I know some people don’t like to look at it like that) and usually indicates for my personal readings that the actual outcome is well-aligned to me.

In previous readings, done by me and others, I have been told again and again to hold on and that there is a past life karmic link between us, one that’s worth exploring in this life as well.

When I do personal readings I’m always worried that I’m essentially reading them the way I want to read them. So please, if you feel like it, tell me your own thoughts about this.
