Hey guys, so my dad passed away in November 2014 suddenly of a heart attack. Ever since he died I’ve been having dreams of him frequently. My brother doesn’t see him in his dreams, it’s just me who does. Last night I dreamed that I went to his house (the house we lived together in). Dad answered the door and let me in, and I saw that he had a fluffy black cat with him (we had a cat when he was alive but it wasn’t black). My parents were separated so we always went to visit him when we were growing up (we went back and forth between our mom and dad’s houses). My dad and I had a long conversation and we were spending time together like we did when we lived together. I can’t remember what our conversation was about now but I was surprised to see him with a cat and I said “is that your cat?” And he said “yeah.” What do you guys think of the dream? I would love to know what you think it means. Thank you!

My dad died of a sudden heart attack a couple of years ago. About a year and a half afterwards there was a period where he would turn up in *every* dream, to the point where his appearance sparked me becoming lucid and we could chat! For me this was my dad making me aware of his presence, so I can communicate with him more easily (in waking state) and hanging out with him in sleep can be a visitation rather than a passive dream. Not sure if this helps but I think I’m trying to say it may start as a dream but develop into something else!
