Did my deck just tell me that the most likely outcome is a mystery?

So I’ve been doing tarot on and off (Mostly off sadly) sense about 2016. But ever sense I started I’ve always had one deck, my New Palladini Tarot that I got at a chance encounter with a practicing witch at a market in Rainier Washington when we visited while they were doing Halloween town that every time I’ve gone I have not seen again, that I always rely on for serious things. I keep it in a little box with quarts, a MTG card, ( I was a big MTG fan at the time and the card is nostalgic for me), and a guitar pick (I play bass but I still use a pick most of the time).

I’ve recently had my interest in magic revitalized. And after getting a collections of the keys and testament of solomon and talking with a few friends I decided to do a reading to see what I should look out for as I delve back into the world of practicing magic. It went pretty normally until I got The High Priestess as the 10th card. Following what the book that’s with the deck says, The High Priestess has to do with mystery, a hidden future, silence, tenacity, mystery, wisdom, and faith!

I have some ideas as to how to interpret this, either as a sign that it’s a coin toss on if I’m successful or
if like before I give up and don’t learn anything. Which, I guess plays into the felling I have of it being a mystery. If people would like, I could try to post my full reading and what the book says about each card.

I love this thread. Tarot is so amazing. First, it’s always really difficult to interpret a single card out of context, without any relation to neighboring cards, but at a glance The High Priestess really couldn’t be more appropriate….

You wanted to know what you should look out for as you delve back into the world of practicing magic. If it’s the 10th card, I’m going to (hopefully, not incorrectly) assume you’re performing a fairly straightforward Celtic Cross and this is your final outcome. I would take this card as a sign of encouragment. The High Priestess being the natural counterpart to The Magician- she is no less magical in her esoteric wisdom than he is. This is your invitation to become a student of esoteric knowledge, while perhaps being on the look out for a teacher or mentor, because there is much more to learn.

In my opinion this card could suggest that you will reach success but is requiring you to be quiet or secretive about it. Although you may want to share or boast your accomplishment/winnings it’s best to keep your earnings on the low. Additionally you can always pull clarifying cards in any reading and suggest you do so rather than solely accept my take on this card. If you recorded the entire reading maybe try posting it to the sub.
