Difference between intuition and ego?

I am trying to be loving and work on my relationships but I am unable to because I have some self doubt brewing.

There are social norms and I’m not ever sure when I should be the one that takes action towards the things I want, relationships, life goals, or should I let them come to me and when do I know the balance between the two?

You have to be affirmative about what you want and how to do it. If you want something to happen you have to make an effort to make it happen and not sit and wait for it. To answer your title question intuition is a gut feeling on something. Your ego is your personality affecting your judgement and is far more of an active thought process than intuition.

Ego comes with feelings. Good bad scared happy whatever. Intuition is void of emotion. It just is.
