So I recently applied for a job and I’m wanting to do a spell in order to get it but I’m wanting to do something that’s not a spell jar (which is what I’ve mostly been using). I feel like I do them a lot and that I need to switch up my method of spell casting, but when I try to look up different methods all I get are types of spells, love spells, and protection spells (which I know are important but I actually have a spell jar made for this already). I’m really just looking for different ways to cast spells to not have a repetitive method of casting.

    Ask yourself two questions.

First, where did this desire to switch it up come from? Are you not getting the results you want? Or you wanting to stretch yourself further? Do you find it limiting? Those kind of things.

And second, what sorts of casting methods feel like a good fit? Are you leaning towards candles, sigils, maybe incantations? Naked dance, ceremonial magic, maybe necromancy?

Once you answer both those questions, you might find it easier to start looking at a certain direction.

It might help focus your desire.

Candle magick is always a fun one! It’s typically my go-to because candle magick can be done fairly quick while still getting those intentions out. Anointing the candle then rolling it in corresponding herbs before lighting it gives the spell that extra oomph. Birthday candles are surprising great for this, they’re small, burn fast so you’re not sitting for hours waiting and they’re easy to monitor and extinguish if the flame gets out of hand

“Spell” it out. Look into olde fashioned, simple petition spells.

One of my favorites, as I get to go into as much detail, and be as clear and concise in what I am going for as possible. Helps to be both more accurate, and also to limit unintended outcomes.

    Have fun! BB.
