Simply put, how does dignity interact with sect? For instance, if someone with a diurnal chart has a lot of their nocturnal planets in domicile, or if someone with a nocturnal chart has their nocturnal planets in detriment.

Personal examples are very welcome as well!

Dignity is about the strength of a planet and sect is about the favorability of the planet’s outcomes. If I had to put it into words, dignity determines how much a planet can do and sect determines whether or not it does something helpful or unhelpful.

A domicile nocturnal planet in a day chart is going to have a high capacity to do something bad or unhelpful, because the planet in question is not a part of the sect (making it “angrier”) but has the resources to bring about its significations. For example, a Scorpio Mars in a day chart is an objectively difficult placement to have because Mars is the malefic contrary to sect and can create a greater amount of difficulties.

An exiled nocturnal planet in a night chart is going to have a low capacity to do something good or helpful, because the planet in question is in the sect of favor but it doesn’t have the resources to bring about its significations. For example, an Aries Venus in a night chart isn’t a great placement to have because Venus is the benefic of sect and can’t bring about benefic things as consistently or with as much intensity as it could if it were domicile.
