Do any Capricoen moons experience their parents being controlling or overly repressive?

My best friend growing up is a Capricorn moon and her parents were extremely controlling and overly critical of her in every aspect of her life on top of being over the top religious. This is definitely a pattern I’ve seen in Capricorn sun/moon/rising as well as Capricorn in the 4th house

Yes. But one of my parents has a severe personality disorder. So dunno if theres a correlation with my moon in Capricorn.

My husband is a Capricorn moon, his mom (I love her) is totally over bearing. His dad is stand offish but set standards very high. She has these very strict, sometimes crazy, ideas about parenting.

Cap moon here, my parents were actually quite permissive in their parenting style.

Yes. And my moon is out of bounds to boot which has amplified my discord with my mother. We haven’t spoken in three years due to her controlling and abusive behavior.

I felt very isolated in childhood especially as an only child and my parents hated each other. Then experienced one parent who didn’t seem to care whatsoever and one who was so overprotective. I now feel like I have to resolve all of my issues on my own and have a very strained relationship with the parent who was overbearing as I’ve effectively become a parent for them now.
