I noticed when I get tarot readings when I’m anxious the readings “validate “my anxiety. But when I am cool calm and collected and just want to have a reading everything comes out positive. I do believe it has to do with the energy you bring to the reading. Curious to know if anyone else agrees with me

No. There is no such obligation. They are incentivised to encourage you to pay attention to them.

If I want to know any truth, I go directly to angels and other forms of higher power. Everyone else is questionable.

Considering the number of people I’ve met who will warn you that spirits lie, I was starting to wonder if spirits were actually less trustworthy than living people. It’s like every other ghost or spook out there is just another demon waiting to deceive you and torment your soul.
I feel like developing a good spirit of discernment would come really in handy.

I agree with much that has been said but let’s just say that this message you received was truth. There is the power to change your future. Perhaps this message will aid you in altering the course of events. Our awareness of things, simply having some knowledge can immediately alter things going forward. I would try and focus on WHY you would break up. “It won’t be your fault.” Okay, so maybe an affair or something where you could br blameless. Maybe you can reconcile after. Maybe not. Maybe you can try to work on your relationship before it gets to that point. Try not to worry about validating what you hear but really listening to what you are being told and how it translates to your life. Sometimes these things are wrong, but there’s a reason it’s being said. Even if it’s a deception, why would the spirit prey on you in such a way? Do they sense a weakness in you? A vulnerability? Are you afraid of this because you don’t feel secure in your marriage? Just stuff to think about. Good luck

Spirits who have crossed over to Heaven don’t lie. Ghosts and nature spirits can lie. And anything else considered a “spirit” may or may not lie. Angels for sure never lie, but they always know the truth. What one angel knows, all the other angels know.

I’ve found that they’re about as honest as humans are. Humans often aren’t but a very few actually are honest.

This is eerie because night before last I had a dream that my husband and I “broke up”. My husband thought it was funny that I called it a break up and not a divorce but that is how it happened in the dream.

No. They have motive to lie just like anyone else.

I don’t think they lie so much as give you a peek into potential consequences, which may not happen. There are also may ways to view any given situation, and the people they are reading may have different moods or thoughts they could be oicking up on. Who knows, but best to take all readings with a BIG grain of salt and rely on your own inuition.

This particular question has piqued a lot of our collective interests. With that, I offer my perspective. DUE DILIGENCE, DISCERNMENT, and RESONANCE will keep your truths as true to you. You can spend your whole damn life trying to figure out if someone/something is lying to you/being truthful. Guess what? It’s universal that not all perspectives (read that as truths … or lies, if you prefer) are the same. As always, buyer beware – and yes, we are ALL always buying (interacting with) something from someone/something. Can someone/something hold a perspective that is a lie to our truth? You’re damn right they/it can. One more time for those in the back: DUE DILIGENCE, DISCERNMENT, and RESONANCE.

As above, so below. Spirits exist in all levels and frequencies – lower ones like ghosts can lie like people do, and dark energies live for posing and taking advantage of fear. But, the higher the energy, the more likely they’re telling the truth from their perspective, or from probabilities as they see it. It’s kind of like a skyscraper – the higher the energy, the bigger the picture, the more whole and loved you feel. That said, the higher *your* energy or your reader’s energy (meditate, declare “may it be for my highest good/ the highest good of all”), the more likely you get a good perspective and have good discernment. Ask the spirit four times if they are for your highest good, and if you don’t get a clear “yes” the fourth time, send them away. If you were talking to a spirit who was a 15-year-old ghost and they saw you would have a fight with your husband, they might translate that as a break-up and be very authoritative about it, trying to help.
