Does Medication Affect Your Ability to Give Reading??

Hello everyone..so glad I found this community! I lost my best friend, my mother, in October 2020. I miss her so much, and I have so many questions. I wish to connect with her, and am trying to find a medium in my area that is reputable. I have been so depressed and sad since I lost her, and my therapist suggested anti depressants. I need something, but I am reluctant to start because I am afraid that medication may block a medium from being able to do a reading. So, mediums, I ask you. If a person is on an antidepressant, does that affect your ability to help them or to connect with their deceased loved one? Or am I just being silly? I admit I do not know alot about how it all works, but I am trying to learn. Thank you for any input

It won’t affect your reading at all. I think some of the other commenters may have misunderstood the question. It would only make a difference if you were reading yourself, but it doesn’t sound like that is the case here. So I hope you find the answers you are looking for. All the best.

It won’t affect it negatively. The best way to get a clear reading (IMO) is by creating conditions in your life where you are emotionally stable. Anti depressants can help achieve this. Take care of yourself xoxo

Absolutely not it would only effect your ability to connect with the spirit world. If right now you need someone else to do the connecting for you then do it, take care of yourself first in this challenging time.

I would say you change your nature by a compound not found in nature= unnatural

But weed and psychedelics increase the connections being made
