Okay, last night I had a dream that I pin down to what it means.
I was with my best friend in the dream in a white room. We were talking and suddenly he points at a black board with a spread of cards attached to it and a table with a split deck of cards. I volunteer to go look at it since my friend isn’t very familiar with tarot, and I look at what card was facing on each of the piles. They were both major arcana, and I’m sure that one was the High Priestess. I’ve been trying to figure out what the other card was, and I have a feeling it was the Magician. I look over at the board and it was a variety of major and minor cards, but I can only remember the Fool sticking out to me. When I look back to the table, two new cards are on top, The Emperor and The Empress.
I’m having trouble trying trying to decipher what it means, or if it means anything at all. Ive going through it as of lately with school and stress, and have been falling behind on my tarot practice. I have a feeling the High Priestess is suggesting to me that I need to retreat back from my responsibilities and reflect on what I want, since I’ve been lost on what I want to do. But doesn’t the Emperor contradict this, by saying to own up to my responsibilities with discipline? And how do I read the Empress and Emperor in one reading? Thank you!
