A dude used to follow me around, stare at me, and generally creep at my last job. When I reported him to HR, my female manager and all female HR defended him saying he was just socially awkward and trying to make friends. Funny how he never tried to”make friends” with anyone but young women. He has also been reported before that by other women. I left shortly after for other reasons but I found out he finally got fired after harassing two more women. I’m so happy he finally received repercussions for his behavior, but sad he had to harass so many women before anything happened. A win for today, though.

Did they try to tell you “Oh, it’s just because he likes you”? You know, the kind of thing that should never fly no matter how old/young the harasser is.

It is so weird when other women defend sex pests, surely they or someone they know have experienced it personally?

I lost my job in college for complaining about a coworker who creep and stalk me outside of work for months. He would describe killing animals to me and make sexual comments at work. I complained but was the only woman working in security so they cut all my hours and gave them to him.

Some creep I used to work with at Costco was just like this. Ugh, you ever get the feeling someone wants to harvest your damn organs or worse when they look at you?

All creeps are socially awkward. Not all socially awkward people are creeps. We know a creep vibe when we sense it, and that should never be brushed aside.

I hope so, so much that the former manager & her manager who bullied me mercilessly for being autistic eventually get theirs. They’re both women. Woman-on-woman sexism in the gaming industry is sadly way too prevalent
