I’m using Rider Waite and this book is using Gilded Tarot whose deck has more vivid and added details and meaning as well.

With what i have which is rider waite, would this be a good book to go with it for learning intuitively?

You’re going to find both different and similar definitions in books describing tarot and all of them are up for interpretation.

To learn intuition and combining it with your reading has nothing to do with books but everything to do with yourself.

A key to intuition it learning to trust yourself wholeheartedly. Trusting that first thought or feeling and ignoring the doubt and “what ifs”.

Practicing strengthening your intuition everyday with your life will also help aid your intuition in the way it interprets and recieved information from the deck.

    An EXERCISE you can do:

For the next while, whenever you need to make a decision or are stumped on an obstacle, trust the FIRST thought that comes to mind.

Do not go with the second or third or fourth thought.
    Trust the
First thought and see how it influences your ability to pinpoint trust and accuracy to situations and yourself.
This is a long term exercise and is a muscle that needs to be worked.

I’m not sure if I’m following completely with what you’re asking, since I’d imagine your Rider Waite deck would come with its own book, no?

Either way, I personally have come to love my **Linestrider Tarot Deck.** Now, unfortunately I’m not sure if you can buy the book that accompanies it without buying the deck, but the book itself I believe has the best, clear cut messages for a beginner. I love how the book also offers some perspective on how to interpret each card when it’s found next to certain cards. An example, if Temperance is found next to 7 of Cups, the book may provide another POV for Temperance, due to its position next to the 7 of Cups. I love those nuances. Overall, the book puts things in layman’s terms, without crippling you with very shallow, surface—one sided descriptions.
