Experience with dreams and connecting to others

Does anyone else have dreams in which you still feel like yourself a bit but you experience events and emotions that you’ve never gone through before? There’s also a lot of depth to the dreams. You meet people you’ve never known before. In one of them I met a woman who identified as a witch and was there to help me and then some type of being shaped like an angel. This might sound random but I believe someone will have experience.

I had a dream that I met an older lady the was a witch and was talking with me. She sat in a rocking chair in front of a fire place drinking some type of orange tea. And I was sitting next to her on a stool. She had a blanket over her lap too. The house looked like a cottage if I were to guess. The dream put me in mind of how the old lady in brave was. Thing is, I have never seen this lady before; in dream or in life.

If I remember it right, I saw an episode of a show on Gaia that mentioned something about how when we dream and truly feel our emotions in the dream, as if we are truly there and still ourselves rather than being just omnipresent, it can be a flashback of a past life experience or a view into your life in an alternate dimension or timeline. I’m still trying to figure out how to better understand my dreams as well, because even if some don’t make much sense or stay in my memory for long, I always have this feeling that some have a deeper meaning.

I once had a dream where I opened my eyes and it appeared I was waking up from a nap in the back seat of an older station wagon on a road trip only I was a small child. There was an older man driving and a woman in the passengers seat, I couldn’t recognize either of them but when the woman looked at me I felt this incredible sense of comfort and safety. I looked out the window and felt the warmth of the sun on my face, and we drove past a field of dandelions before I woke up. To this day I’ve never experienced anything similar
