For as long as I can remember I’ve had issues sometimes with trying to sleep I’ve had nightmares of either a snake being in my bed or getting viciously attacked by snakes and especially cobras and because of this I’ve been terrified of snakes. When they happen I’m usually up all night.

Yesterday during a meditation I got pretty deep and suddenly had this urge to rock my body back and forth, couldn’t control it frankly. After that I had the snake sensation as described and could feel it wrapping around me. This time it was different, not good, not bad, just there and neutral. Then the cobra flashed and it was gold and black striped. It coiled up my spine and never once felt attacked.

Has anybody else ever experienced this? I’ve done some research and have seen people mention Kundalini but I’ve never really been a practitioner of that kind of thing. I’d love some input because strangely enough this thing happened in the most bizarre way.

Dreams or visions of being at peace with the presence of a snake is a representation of your ego and your soul becoming more unified.

It’s a positive sign, usually signifying that you are reaching a point where you spend alot less time warring against yourself, and can focus on everything else

Since you asked for it, Here’s my story. I had this snake phobia since I was a child and it was so deep I couldn’t look at snake pictures. I had nightmares of snakes same as yours most nights.
A year ago I found this fantastic method called emotion code which tracked my snake phobia down to my great-great grandfather. I released the trapped emotions and my phobia vanished like it never existed.
A while ago, I asked a question while I was in meditating and got a visual answer. I saw this snake moving around and suddenly got trapped in a mouse trap. I asked for the interpretation and it’s been said that the snake refers to my ego and the mouse trap was a certain situation I’ve been greeding for.

Snakes symbolize the vital force. This can be good or bad, depending of what they do.

It’s your Kundalini activating, it’s actually located at the base of the spine. Everyone has kundalini energy so you don’t have to be a ‘practitioner’ to have it, it appears to people on different ways, although the serpent is the most common. It represents the Shakti aka feminine energy, it mostly triggers personal and spiritual growth in people.

I don’t think seeing a cobra is bad. Snakes in religion are seen as sacred except in Christianity. But I think its a metaphor not necessarily that snakes are bad. A cobra is king, so I wonder if someone in your life that is in power is causing you grief? Or perhaps you feel like being in a position of authority is causing you issues? Hard to say.

“Historically, serpents and snakes represent fertility or a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin through sloughing, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing. The ouroboros is a symbol of eternity and continual renewal of life.”

Perhaps, also, you’re afraid of change and it feels like a personal attack on your life hence the fear of snakes in dreams and meditation.
