Feminist movement poem: Adrienne Rich

Analysis: the first sister represents the beginning of feminism and start of the movement. The second sister is hopeful and the third has broke free and finds pride in her flawed femininity. I think the language is really beautiful and the depiction of how feminism evolved is very interesting to think about. Feel free to add/discuss.

I saw Adrienne at a reading and met her briefly while she signed books afterwards. She was absolutely mesmerizing as she read her own poems and she had the most wonderful, mischievous twinkle in her eye. That woman had divine wisdom in her bones.
