Girlfriend seeing a spirit for the first time in years

im not sure if this is the right sub but i couldnt find another one so im sorry if this is the wrong space (also apologies im on mobile) but my girlfriend used to see a ghost or spirit when she was a little kid all the way up until she was about 20 years old. i practice witchcraft but i still wanted to believe was possibly sleep paralysis however when she was around 15 she brought it up to her dad and he told her he saw the same spirit growing up and her mom saw it once as well. she hasn’t seen it in a few years but last night she saw the spirit again which has never happened while someone else was with her and certain things about the spirit changed. then things fell off of shelves in our room, the tv started acting weird, and this morning a plant that was in a window sill shot off for no reason. i was hoping someone would have advice for helping this spirit move on so it stops scaring my girlfriend!

I have heard stories about spirits that are attached to the bloodline which could be the case. However that spirit can be good and maybe you are getting it all wrong. He is just acting like a poltergeist to get your attention. Try find a way to get to talk with him.
