Has there been any studies done comparing astrology and Genetics? for example has anybody tested if all people with a certain specific gene have something in their chart correlating to that gene?

I’d suggest you look into Medical Astrology. It’s a well-developed system and certainly ties health issues to placements. I’d suggest looking for Lee Lehman. She does have an episode on medical astrology here:

And in fact, in the chart we can see where an inherited/genetic health issue (represented by something to do with the 6th house, can be inherited from the 8th. I’m sure there are other such configurations.
