I drew the Emporer Reversed, to a question of whether I’d be able to afford my bills this month, and my interpretation of this is that I’m not going to be in control, and it’s going to be a big change because it showed up in my next reading, where I asked what I need to know.
For context, my paychecks have been much smaller than usual, but I’ve checked my pay stubs and the taxes have risen. With that tax increase, I can’t afford to live at my apartment, and I’m really worried about this

Reply my interpretation from the reversed emperor is that you may have an unbalanced masculine energy and leaning too much into your feminine. you are always in control of how you handle a situation 🖤 dont down play your power. just breath, center yourself and solutions will come to you. maybe ask a family member or friend for a loan you could slowly pay back? delve into a side hussle like selling excess clothes, housewares, etc. a balanced fem/masc energy means “being and doing” to simply put it. tap into your masc energy for logic and effective action to problem solve this issue. im sorry youre struggling and have stress with your finances currently, im sending all my love and positivity to you! i know youre capable of finding a good solution. dont allow stress or fear to unbalance you or hinder connecting with your higher self 🖤 id suggest creating a list of options you may want to take to resolve this issue then meditating to soothe/balance and regain clarity/confidence (:
Essentially you are already aware of your financial status, and of course aware if you have to make adjustments that can help you stay on track even if it means cut backs or adding to your income elsewhere. The emperoro indicates an authority which could be who you need to pay, taxes and employer. In rev feeling that you aren’t in control of your life and maybe feeling paralyzed in the face of overwhelming obstacles,
The Emperor offers you the solution in the problem, suggesting you get ahead of any issues by decisive action.
I think in this context you could take a zoomed-out perspective and see the emperor rx as a signal of our overall socioeconomic system. That the corporations billing you have significant unelected power and do not act in your best interest. They instead are motivated by how much profit they can make.
Like, everyone deserves to have their basic needs met and shouldn’t have to worry about whether or not their paycheck will cover them. I think the card really says this is not about you personally and is not your fault, its that we live in an unfair and unjust socioeconomic system.
