Hello dear redditors, I met a girl a few days ago and I fell head over hills for her, and she is into tarot reading. Could you please point out some places where I can read about this? Any place where I can find reliable information would be helpful. I find tarot incredibly interesting and I think it would be a great subject of conversation. Also, I want to give her something as a gift, a small gesture, what is something that I can gift her that would be helpful for her passion?

I’m here to learn myself, but just as a suggestion: wouldn’t it make more sense to ask her? I’m sure she wont be put off by the fact that you don’t know much about it yet, but rather be happy to see you are genuinely interested and willing to learn from her.

Tell her that you are interested and let HER tell you about Tarot. People love it when you ask them to share their knowledge about something they know and you don’t. Much more of a connection builder than you trying to be an expert in something she knows. Seriously, asked her to do a reading for you!

For a gift I think a crystal for her tarot cards would be nice:) like a clear quartz or amethyst:)

When someone asks me about things that I’m passionate about and takes a genuine interest in it – that means the world to me. Never really had that, so I’ll echo what others said: show genuine interest in her passion and ask her questions.
That, to me, is the clearest indication of a person accepting of me and wanting to be a part of my life. It’s a very rare thing, you know. Best wishes to you!

You can ask her what is her level of reading (beginner, mid level, experienced…) and about the cards she uses. If there is a theme of what she uses, you can gift her another deck with the same theme or gift her a tarot reading from a recommender reader. I would love that in my personal opinion 🙂
