Help with imposter syndrome

Hello! Does anyone have affirming rituals they like to do to deal with imposter syndrome?

I moved to a new team (a step up role) and I spend most days terrified that I don’t know anything. It makes me a workaholic since I try so hard to “catch up” (to what, I don’t know) and I’m not even productive, I just sit at my desk for really long hours so it feels like I’m working “enough”

It took years for me to breakthrough that. I thought I was an idiot and I must have everyone fooled. Also that I was this huge dick that was only kind and thoughtful because I wanted to trick everyone into liking me.

I went to therapy. Turns out your childhood has a large impact on your adult life. After talking it out a bunch and then one day just realizing that it wasn’t reality, everything just clicked.

I work with some really smart people. If I was dumb as a box of rocks they would have picked up on it. It’s not plausible that I get to do my job if I can’t handle it. There would have to be a mass conspiracy to prop me up for that to happen, and I don’t have the connections for that.
