flickerandflightMemberNot herbs for a honey jar but to sweeten a person towards you. I’ve seen some conflicting answers: lavender, rose petals etc but in my opinion those lean more toward romantic intentions.

Herbs to sweeten?

GuestNovember 19, 2022 at 4:59 amI always use sugar regardless but a witch I worked with once gave me some advice that might be helpful here- she said to pair sugar with coffee beans or ground coffee to make it work faster. I’ve used it a lot of times since with pretty good results: once in a romantic sense and several times to smooth over disagreements with friends and to take the edge off shitty bosses.

Your desired effect is for them to be sweet on you, but using herbs and their essences are about dissoluting the resistances to them being like that towards you.
Add herbs which delay with release of fears, positivity, bounty and opportunity.
To clarify; the point of the practice is not to *make* the recipient sweet; the service is to remove their blocks from *choosing* to be so.
Much longer path to your desired outcome, but much more authentic/ethical. -

GuestNovember 19, 2022 at 4:59 amThe list for this could be a mile long, here are a few that I don’t find to be too strongly romantic; Oregano, Catnip, and my personal favorite because of its versatility-Rosemary.
Also, listen to your intuition, what herbs say gentle and sweet to you? -

GuestNovember 19, 2022 at 4:59 amCalendula is a good one- I also like chamomile. I think prosperity herbs would be good too- peppermint, Marjoram, bay leaves.
