I have no idea or knowledge of how to go about this, so is there anything I need to know or a place where I can find this information? I just want something small to say thank you to whatever forces made this new home possible, and to ensure many good fortunes and blessings.

Maybe a second one to help ward off evil spirits? I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing or what I’ll need, so could y’all wonderful people here please give me a hand?

No Sage please(unless you’re Native or want to call spirits) Burn rosemary to cleanse, salt line for the doors, and conveniently it’s the Holiday season-get a cinnamon broom and hang it over your front door (on the inside). 2nd the rose quartz and amethysts in every room, or just by the entrances. Congratulations OP!! Happy Housewarming

In my culture it’s good fortune to plant a small belladonna plant behind the house. It has to be somewhere hidden and you musn’t tell anyone you did it.

Plant it before sunrise and put an offering under its roots (traditionally a coin, a small piece of bread and a pinch of salt) and ask for the blessing of your house and the people living inside it.

Also, congratulations on your new home.

Edit for safety reasons: when working with poisonous plants like belladonna, make sure they are out of reach for children and pets.

SAGE it first and I have amethyst crystals and rose quartz in all my rooms to bring in good vibes and love 💕. Congratulations on your new home.

Sage and then salt line, either the door ways or the whole perimeter for bad spirits, just be aware it’ll kill off any plants. Then I write my thanks on paper and burn it so the smoke can carry it to the spirits

Burn sage and/or cedar, make sure you do it properly, look at videos on YouTube on how the Natives does it, it’s the best way. (And no it’s not cultural appropriation ad long as you do it with respect and properly, and not as something “trendy”)
