Hi! A little backstory: I’m intuitive and experience moments of clairsentience and claircognizance. I’m working on developing my abilities but still very much a novice.
So, I work in a psych hospital and recently started working in a different area of the hospital. The vibe felt a little off at first but I brushed this off and assumed it was likely just because it was older, smaller, and aesthetically…it even looks depressing because it hasn’t been remodeled yet like the other areas of the hospital. It’s also darker and more dreary looking because there are no windows on that side.
I was recently in one of the rooms and all of a sudden I saw a small blue orb out of the corner of my eye quickly dart from the left over towards the wall before it vanished. Prior to that, there have been times where I’ve thought I’ve heard a knock at the door and other people had heard it also, only for me to open and there’s no one there. After seeing the orb, that was enough for me to put 2+2 together and realized my initial gut instinct about that unit was spot on. The vibes were definitely off there. And it was weird because I’ve never really ever had clairvoyant experiences before where I’m actually seeing what is unseen…it’s typically a feel and know type experience for me. This is the first time I’ve actually seen something (the orb) with my eyes.
I approached a coworker that I knew wouldn’t judge me for asking that had been there for several years if anyone ever passed away on that unit, and she said yes. One patient. A young patient. I was sad to hear that my intuition was right. My unit is chaotic 24/7 so it’s difficult for me to energetically focus enough to pick up on much else. Plus, you best believe I’m shielding and praying every day before I go into work!!! Lol. So maybe I’m energetically blocking a bit too? Idk.
That was earlier this week.
Today, I’m in the same room and the lights flickered — dimmed before going back to normal twice. And the lights in there don’t dim…it’s just an on and off switch. So now I’m convinced there’s a spirit there.
In the past, I’ve lit prayer candles for lingering neutral shadow spirits in my home and this seemed to help. My partner stopped seeing them after. (He saw them, I felt them.) But obviously, I can’t do that in a hospital.
Is there anything I can do to ensure this spirit is at peace and ok? A psych hospital is a crappy place for a spirit to linger so if I’m able to help it go somewhere happier, I’d like to. My current patients would also probably benefit from this because the lights flickering freaked them out a little! Haha.
TIA 🫶🏼
Edit: also just randomly curious if the orb being blue means anything specific?
