How and Why to Practice the Skill of Discernment.

Discernment is as as important as grounding, centering.shieldimg and building wards.

Whereas, the first four skills are all about protection, discernment is the art of knowing the nature of others and the nature of spirit.

We are all complex. We have our needs and our weaknesses. That is where discernment is of importance.

Use discernment as a psychic medium with other users on reddit. Practice listening to users who talk you on reddit. Are they approaching with flattery? Are they threatening you? Do they want to use you because you have a skill set that you have that they do not? Practice discernment in your interactions on reddit. Use your gut. If something is off, trust yourself.

Discernment can be valuable when we have to unlearn beliefs and attitudes about the spirit that we learned. We can use our discernment to grow and to change and throw off misconceptions that no longer make sense to us based on our development as mediums.

The first users to approach you are not always those beneficial to your spiritual well-being and your spiritual health. One of the first users to contact me on reddit with an offer of help with my psychic development was a psychic predator who was a part of a group of disturbing beings. Discernment allowed me to recognize the language that the user was using. It helped me to use my intuition to sense motives. It saved me a lot of trouble.

Discernment can help you to learn the nature of spirits. How do the interactions feel? Are the spirits asking you to help them with issues you are trained or qualified to tackle? Do you wish to attempt to assist each spirit? Is the spirit stuck? Is the spirit pushing? Is the spirit asking for a service that you can provide? Does this spirit belong to a place, and is it happy?

Discernment is as important as the tool as the first three types of protection in mediumship.
