How can astrological calculations be accurate if the planet has tilted on its axis since they were made?

Cuz that means the planet is shifting and the constellations are changing position.

Because astrology doesn’t use the constellations, it uses ***signs***, so the Precession of the Equinoxes is irrelevant. Astrology takes the 360-degree ecliptic and divides it equally into 12 zodiac signs–not constellation– of exactly 30 degrees each. Then in western astrology, 0 Aries is placed at the equinox, with 0 cancer, 0 libra and 0 capricorn all at the other equinox and solstices. Vedic, divides the ecliptic exactly the same way, but place 0 Aries in one of 3 different places.

I’m assuming (with a little help from research) that because when astrology was founded it was based in time of year rather than where the Sun actually was in correlation to the constellations. I think what what we now call the Zodiac was actually the months (seems right considering they fit the seasons near perfectly)
Plus the fact that even if they lined up the Sun wouldn’t sit in each sign for equal amounts of time, like with the constellations of Leo and Virgo being massive and the constellations of Aires and Scorpio being quite small in comparison.

Even just a little research into astrology would help most. But it’s deemed as witchcraft and therefore not given any real study.
