GuestDecember 25, 2021 at 1:36 amShadow work is basically self-therapy by addressing your “shadow”, which are unresolved feelings, stuff you hide, etc. All you need is something to write with (it could be digital if you want!) I have two methods of shadow work:
1. Using shadow prompts. There’s a bunch of shadow prompts online and there’s even workbooks for it. All you have to do is write down your answer to the prompt. Be as detailed as you please.
2. When you feel an unpleasant emotion just write it down. Write down what you feel, why you think you feel that way, and how can you solve it.I recommend doing these at night when your brain isn’t filtering stuff.

GuestDecember 25, 2021 at 1:36 amShadow work is mostly looking at the parts of yourself that you ignore/hide. A lot of people do this by meditation, journaling, and therapy. I have a bunch of prompts for Journaling I can put here to get you started, and can send some links to guided meditations. These are just starting points though, you’ll figure out more specific ones to you as you get through the process.

GuestDecember 25, 2021 at 1:36 amMy method is simple, I just grab a pen and a paper and I start writing things that triggers anger, jealousy, sadness, etc.
I do it mostly at night when I’m tired because it’s easier to access my unconscious, censured thoughts.
