How do you know if you’re psychic?

*Let me clear myself as I don’t really know how to phrase my question, forgive my ignorance. I’m not looking for answers telling me if I have some superpowers or anything, I am just genuinely confused about something that I have been experiencing and perhaps some of your guidance can tell me.*

Let’s just say I am oddly good at predicting, even passively. I’ve started to notice this around five years ago. Sometimes I’ll try to remember a song and ask myself, *I wonder if people still sing this song?* And come a few seconds later someone passes by me and starts singing it. Or when I think of a word and think, ‘I don’t think I’ve seen anyone use this word out loud.’ and then a pair of boys come by yelling that word. Then, when my teacher calls students by class number, I can usually tell my friend which one she’s going to pick next. I’m good at those games that ask you to pick a card, because I know where the best item is. I’m also good at drawing lots, I used to tell my friends which side of the box they should pick so that we’ll be in the same group and guess what? We always end up with the same number and same group. Sometimes I’ll be texting someone while watching something and the very same sentence I’m typing out will be spoken by whoever I’m watching a second later.

I usually already know what topic my teacher will assign me for some reason. There was also a time I met someone new and thought of her name before she even introduced herself to me, and I was correct. I don’t want to think of this too seriously as I always told myself this may just be a series of coincidences, as they are minor happenings anyway. However, there was also a time I was walking back home, then felt a strange heavy presence followed by weird occurances and I thought *’Oh, someone died.’* and a few hours later we received a call from one of our relatives reporting to us that someone did pass away. My friends have also realized that I’m good at guessing/predicting and I used to treat it as some joke, and jokingly said if I were to make a predictions account I think someone would slip on stage at an awards show. Come a few months later, someone did injure herself at an awards show, and she was related to the person who I thought was going to slip. Of course, it is a serious matter and I’m glad she’s recovered well. So yes, maybe I shouldn’t say all the things that come to my mind.

Lastly, my grandmother is also quite good at predicting, she can open the gates and sense when you’re coming home from five minutes away. And it’s a thing that runs in my family, usually one of us thinks of what we’re going to have for dinner and we come home to the same dish cooked.

Of course, I’m not super accurate and I’m not always right, so I still want to treat these occurrences as coincidences. But the amount of coincidences are rather…concerning, so I would just like to share this to people who know more about this subject than I do.

I’ve had my own account of things “happen” but I can very much relate to the words being spoken as I’m thinking or writing them and also the familial connection specifically with my mom (with food as well)! I’m here because I’m wondering the same thing…

I have experienced many of these same “coincidences” but also find myself kind of predicting it will happen. Like I will think of someone randomly and shortly after they reach or to me or I see them, and other instances occur, of course. I am wondering what it all means and have started searching more for maybe some answers but my awareness of these event can’t always just be coincidence, it happens a little to often to where I’ve started acknowledging them instead of brushing them off as said “coincidences”
