How does Aquarius differ from Virgo?

I feel like both Virgo and Aquarius want to be helpful, both want to give advice and create an ideal. How do their approaches differ?

They hardly have much in common. As an earth sign virgo energy is primarily focused on tangible things while Aqua energy is interested in ideas. Virgo want to understand how things work, to perfect objects and peocesses and to learn how to use them in the best way. It’s an engineer. While Aqua loves to learn and navigate abstract concepts and philosophical systems. It’s more like a professor. As others said while Virgo is all about details, Aqua is about the bigger picture.

From my view, Virgo spot the detail while Aqua take thing outside of the box to examine it in uncommon way.

virgo wants to optimize whats in their environment by taking out whatever is unnecessary. It’s mutable meaning its focused on adaptability, they’re capable of being flexible anywhere they are to find ways to bend and morph their focus while staying lenient to what’s accessible and necessary. It’s focused on servicing others in a tangible way since its the earth side of mercury, plus its fast as fuq cuz mercury is the fastest planet. Their mind is going a million miles per minute, where aquarius the air side of saturn the slowest planet is all about ideals and visions of a utopia, but less about physically making that happen in every little detailed opportunity. Aquarius is an air sign meaning its focus and drive stems from their mental activity. They are fixed meaning their focused on staying the course, enduring any opposing obstacles and strengthening their thoughts and ideas by building off of them. If someone else says to do something different Aquarius is more prone to think, “i’ve done things this way my whole life and i’m not changing it cuz i know its good” while virgo is more prone to be sensitive towards imperfection, and anyone telling them they should do it another way is assuming that they haven’t thought out every possible way and KNOW which way is the most efficient.

Aquarius is like “things shouldn’t be this way, we’d all benefit of the system was catered to our needs, therefore i’m only gonna stay on track with what benefits the greater good”

Virgo is like “things shouldn’t be this way, i can optimize everything no matter how seemingly small it is to make it better/easier for us”

So virgo gets caught up in the little details, they can be soooo focused on perfection which they see more as optimization, (taking apart every component, and seeing what specifically isn’t working here) that they’re caught up in the minutia. Aquarius is no where near as flexible, no matter what environment they’re in, they’re not changing the direction of their thoughts, like their minds are made up of blueprints for how things should be according to them, and they’ve had this same blueprint forever, sure overtime they’ve erased somethings and drew some other things but overall, their aim is still to build upwards and outwards, even if that means detaching from everything that tries holding them down

Virgo is more like the mechanic at a car repair shop. Fixing things by. The. Book. If at all possible. Aqua is more like the improviser, getting square pegs in any round hole, hexagonal hole, or hippopotamoid hole if need. be.

In my experience, Virgo gets hung up on perfection in areas that matter to them in the physical. Also very industrious usually. My dad is a Virgo & he is always busy working outside. He cuts wood all year & is satisfied when he saves money in winter because it costs less to heat his house. He likes tangible results. Aquarian people would rather listen & contemplate ideas. My husband is an Aquarius & he is very open minded. He comes up with plans & can build/fix things with ease because he looks at a problem in numerous perspectives before diving in. He uses his abilities for more freedom in his professional life – he defines success by not feeling like a cog in a machine. He would rather enjoy time off for socializing or doing things he enjoys than stacking up tangible items like my father.

Unless there’s other things in one’s chart, Virgos tend to like things proper. Aquarius are unconventional and inventive (unless there’s something else in their chart). Aquarius also tends to be more wild.

Aquarius: hot, moist, rational, air, saturn, fixed

So Aquarios is (hot) energetic, extroverted, ligth, (moist) cooperative, fluid, adjustable, (rational) objective, logical, (air) sociable, teorical, mental, (saturn) humble, mature, egalitarian, (fixed) routine, focused.

I’m using the traditional approach. I believe some who just use modern migth disagree.
