I’d like some help, as I think my intuition has been pretty tuned out as my anxiety often gets in the way. i do have good and bad intuition when first meeting people but that’s all I can really distinguish from anxiety where I know it is my intuition and not just a thought or anxieties. Please help if anyone has experienced this or knows how to navigate better. I am in therapy already.

Anxiety screams and shouts. Intuition sounds like a calm whisper. You have to listen for intuition though

People say intuition whispers and anxiety shouts, but that hasn’t been my experience. My intuition says something and then my anxiety catches on and sounds the alarm 😆 Especially if I try to ignore an intuitive hit.

Ingo Swann (the master psychic that coined remote viewing) wrote that intuition evolved as a survival mechanism. So in my opinion, it makes sense that sometimes intuition and fear get tangled.

    A few suggestions:

    1. Get quiet and relaxed; slip into a meditative ASC. What comes through when you’re still?

    2. Verify with logic/3D proof. I also find that taking steps to honor my intuition, whatever that looks like, helps quell fear.

    3. Practice. Journaling about what your intuitive hits are, how they feel, and then seeing how they pan out 🙂 Over time you may notice trends in when your hits are accurate vs just coming from a place of fear

    4. Dream querying. This has worked for me a few times where I wanted to know the truth about something. Writing the question down before sleep and asking for the truth to come to me in dreams.

Anxiety is based on fear. Intuition is not.

A little trick I picked up a long time ago goes like “you feel anxiety in your chest and intuition in your gut”. Try to distinguish where exactly you feel that sensation in your body. After a couple of times trying you will know the difference.

If you have an anxiety disorder it’s impossible to tell intuition from anxiety. This is because regardless how calm the feeling/thought comes to you anxiety immediately kicks it into spiraling fear confusing everything. Conquer the source of the trauma, defeat anxiety and peace will allow your intuition to come forward.

I can relate (also in therapy for anxiety) and the realization I recently came to that’s been the most helpful is start with you. Once you work through the source of your fear, pain, insecurity ect you can get to really know yourself and with that intuition becomes clearer. Have compassion and love for the part of you that needs it. Everything you need is in you already.

What you can do with these reads is see where the sensation originates from. You can get a negative read of course but does the sensation originate from within or did you get the feedback externally? That’s a way to know for sure. Where is my source?

So if you’re receiving an intuitive message, one of my favorite things to do is to thank my spirit team for bringing this energy to my attention. From there, I will ask my spirit team to help me receive more clarifying information so that I can more easily understand the source of the energy. After I ask them, I will then practice some grounding techniques that will work for me in that moment and try to be present.

Working on being present will help calm any anxiety that may be building up and help me pay attention more easily for the clarifying messages my spirit team will send my way. Doing this will help you work on understanding your energies vs. what is coming from an outside source so it helps regardless of what’s happening.

Do your best to be kind to yourself as you navigate strengthening the trust between you and your body/mind (the best divination tools we have). I hope this helps <3
