how to read for family in astrology

hi guys, i am curious if there is some sort of connection in the charts of parents to their children? i’m aware that parent’s deeds & unfinished lessons are passed down to their children but i’m not sure how to read them.

for example, what happens when the father and mother’s 5H which are supposed to be related to the traits of their children are different? and moon moves rapidly so it wouldn’t be surprising that children under the same household get different moon signs and placements, so if moon and 4H refer to mother, it is likely that children under the same household can have different representations of mother…?

also it’d be great if anyone can explain why parent’s Big 3s are associated with their children and to what extent they can manifest differently in the natal charts of their children (assuming there is more than 1 child in the family)?

I’m sure this is not the case all the time but I know SO many women who’s moon sign is the same as their mothers sun sign. Example: my mom is an Aquarius sun and I have an Aquarius moon. My grandmother was a cancer sun and my mom has a cancer moon. I have so many friends where this is the case also !!

Well each relationship from person to person is going to be slightly different. My relationship with my mom isn’t going to be exactly the same as my siblings’, but sometimes the relationship may be very similar or sometimes it may be very different. Same way with parents to their kids or any relationship.
