I asked a higher being guide to tell me a story

He said “Write the words exactly as I say them.”

And we started:

There once was an explorer. The explorer went on a hike in the mountains and went very far. In the mountains the explorer ate a lot in order to walk further and further. It was cold, it was spring. He walked to keep himself warm. And then he countined walking and walking in order to feel warm. He moved without a destination and only went to discover the mountains. A while later he stopped to discover the place deeper. And after a while he resumed walking. Then he stopped again and again he resumed. Eventually the explorer went too far, but he continued walking. Until he reached a point on a mountain and stopped. He ate and rested. “You’ll believe to continue like this for ethernity” the explorer said. “I know it is difficult to go on without a destination and in the cold. Going without a destination is more difficult than going with a destination. Don’t lose hope, but continue walking. As you continue walking, you’re getting closer and closer to the destination. It is better to go without a destination but with a mind, rather than with a destination but without a mind.” Then the explorer said: “With a destination you know what you will encounter, but you don’t know what you would have encountered if you didn’t have it. Soon the sun will set and I will have to leave the mountains.” He left. The explorer had gotten to know the mountains because he had gone without a destination. If he had gone with a destination, he wouldn’t have known them the same way. If the destination is known, you wouldn’t get to know all the mountains. But if you don’t know the destination, you know all the mountains.

Sharing it in hope to bring some inspiration or guidance to anyone who might resonate with this out there. In my case, I did. It’s not the first time I ask a spirit to tell me a story and I never know what to expect. Some are riddles, some are jokes, some are lessons, like this one. It takes me around a day to receive one fully because I’m using a pendulum and a circle of letters to let them spell out words and because I ask ton of questions and confirmations to make sure we’re on the same page. Not to mention the whole discussion that follows on its meaning. For me it reflects and explains a situation I’m traversing.

Thank you for sharing this and for both you (and your guide) taking the initiative/effort to make and share it with others. It feels perfectly timed!

I actually resonated with this story quite a lot, and would’ve felt that way, regardless, but then when you stated at the end about how you used a pendulum to arrive at it, it just felt fortuitous and validating and like I was in the right place at the right time!!

See, I have *very recently* started using a pendulum and a letter/divination board, after being on my own journey for the last few years, and only (now, after being a little too hasty once) after first cleansing all items and meditating/grounding and shielding, and kind of couldn’t believe how many messages were coming through!

Archangel Raphael has come through for me more than any other entity/energy and though most of my sessions are cut short by “life” (I have young children), some of his messages sound a bit proverbial, albeit helpful, while others are direct and provide extremely accurate personal insights into my life. I would love to talk about some/all of the messages that he or others have communicated to me, but I have no one (at this time) that I’d feel comfortable sharing it with, without them either thinking I’m crazy or that I’m opening myself up to things that they’d consider “dangerous.”

It’s something I’m trying to be careful about, but that I feel a lot of excitement around atm—like I’ve finally cracked some sort of code or bridged a gap that was much wider before than it is now, and I’d love any feedback or suggestions from anyone who may have more experience with it.

I feel I should share what I get from it… as far as the mundane goes, I usually have the best hikes in the actual mountains I go to locally when I don’t fret over destination. As far as spirit journey, overall life lessons from spirit that I get from it is enjoy the journey, our actual souls life is longer than this time spent within this particular incarnation.. none of us know where the overall destination is going to be or when we’ll get there. We must keep walking incarnation after incarnation until we reach home and finally graduate from this school.

At least that’s what I get from it. May you have ease 🙏and may the road rise up to meet your feet 🙏
