My grandmother passed away when I was sixteen. I ended up coming to terms with being attracted to women while in college, and since then I was always curious about how she might’ve reacted to me coming out. Would she respond positively or negatively? It was always in the back of my mind, because she was just a close to me as my parents were.
Well, I got my answer in a dream.
I was sitting with her in her kitchen, just as I had always remembered it. Right down to her clock that made different bird calls every hour.
When I told her she just waved her hand as if to say “don’t worry about it”. It was a gesture she would do a lot, so this experience felt like a true encounter. It even gave me the courage to come out to my dad as well, and got a surprisingly positive response from him as well. Especially after telling him about the dream. (Turns out he had already known for a *while* 🤣)
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Where you had questions for a deceased loved one that were answered in a dream? I’d love to hear about them!
